近日，北塘河旅遊園區榮獲浙江省優質綜合園區稱號。 公園名稱取自北宋范寬的《溪山遊圖》，公園北岸設定自行車道和跑道，南岸貫穿跑道，兩岸地方條件段設定步行道， 將北塘畫卷串聯起來，形成一幅“船在水裡游，百姓在林中穿”的畫面。
