氣體增壓幫浦是利用活塞兩端的面積差來獲得高壓氣體(液體)輸出,活塞的驅動氣體端是低壓的,活塞的另一端是小面積的高壓,增壓幫浦兩端的活塞桿容積不同, 驅動氣體進入與大活塞連線的腔體,通過氣動換向閥,大活塞可以往復,小活塞也往復。在活塞運動過程中,根據帕斯卡原理,在小活塞端產生高壓氣體(液體),幫浦往復運動,當輸出壓力接近設定壓力值時,幫浦往復運動減慢,直至停止,此時氣壓和液壓平衡,活塞基本保持靜止, 此時能耗最低,流體溫度不公升高,相反,當壓力降低時,幫浦開始工作。
